Its newest partnership is with Volkswagen, named last year鈥檚 鈥済lobal sales leader鈥 for the automotive industry by Forbes magazine. 性视界传媒 students can enter into the Volkswagen Education Partnership through the school鈥檚 Automotive Technology training program and build skills for Volkswagen careers by training on vehicles provided by this worldwide leader.
Students can earn a specialized Automotive Technology certificate, attend VW-exclusive career fairs on campus and get connected to local VW dealerships seeking technicians when they graduate. There are millions of cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road today from VW and its brands 鈥 including Audi, Porsche, Bugatti, Bentley and more 鈥 and those rides need trained, skilled technicians!
Audi, Chrysler and Volkswagen Careers In Reach
The Mahwah campus has a history of aligning with top automotive companies. In addition to the partnership with Volkswagen, Mahwah is also partnered with Audi and Chrysler. The partnership with Audi of America, Inc. has enabled students to work on various models produced by this growing luxury brand while the Chrysler Mopar CAP program provides instruction on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Fiat and Alfa Romeo vehicles. Students work towards a specialized certificate that will qualify them to work at a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or RAM dealership.
Students that pursue these specialized certifications have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in Mahwah鈥檚 79,000-square foot automotive facility, featuring 16 fully-functioning bays and lifts, drive-in classrooms, and cars on site for students to practice on engines, fuel systems, drivability diagnostics, transmissions and more. This campus is also proud to have one of the nation鈥檚 top placement rates for automotive graduates! Grads can begin their careers as Automotive Technicians and work their way up to leadership positions and other lucrative professional paths within the industry.
